The precise and highly accurate measuring is based on two toothed oval-shaped gears that are rotated by the flow. Each oval gear rotation generates two pulses and each rotation measures a constant volume of oil. A coil sensor or an inductive proximity sensor picks up the rotation. The pulse signal can be transferred to indicators, counters, or automation systems.
