The purpose of cooling and flush water

Various mechanical processes which generate friction and heat needs to be cooled or flushed with water or other fluid.

It is essential to optimize the flow to adequate level to ensure lubrication and heat removal but also make sure not to waste energy and fresh water.

Versatile and solid flow transmitter for lowest conductivity

In modern cooling systems—especially those using deionized or ultra-low conductivity water—traditional electromagnetic flow meters often struggle or fail completely. When conductivity drops below the operating threshold of a magmeter, measurement becomes unstable, inaccurate, or impossible.

Because it is based on the variable area (VA) measurement principle, the V-SMART operates independently of liquid conductivity. This makes it ideally suited for cooling circuits using demineralized water in power generation, electronics cooling, data centers, and industrial process equipment.
